Once, Bhima asked his mother about his father, Kumbhakarna, and his mother said Lord Rama killed KumbhakarnaAnd also, his grandparents were killed by Ahalya, the wife of the great saint.

So, Bhima wanted to take revenge against the one who was the reason for his family’s death. So he started to meditate deeply on Lord Brahma.

Lord Bramha impressed his prayer and granted his wish to become invisible. After receiving the boon, Bhima started to irritate the Gods.

The Demi-Gods complained to Lord Shiva. Finally, Lord Siva blew fire on Bhima, and his body was destroyed by fire.

After the victory, the saints requested Lord Shiva to stay in their place and bless them. Lord Shiva accepted their wish and remained in the Bhimashankar Temple.
