Yaganti Temple is a temple of Shiva in the district of Nandyal, Andhra Pradesh State. It was built according to Vaishnavaite traditions. Yaganti Uma MaheswaraSwamy Temple is one of the most famous tourist places in Andhra Pradesh. Temple Timings: 6 am–1 pm, 3 pm–7:30 pm.

King Harihara Bukka Raya of the Sangama Dynasty of the Vijayanagara Empire built this Temple in the 15th century. It has been made according to Vaishnavaite traditions. One story of the site’s origin is as follows: The sage Agastya wanted to build a temple for Lord Venkateswara on this site.

Pushkarini:
The Pushkarini is a small pond of water in the temple surroundings. Water comes into this Pushkarini from the bottom of the hill through the mouth of a Nandi. The water is sweet and fresh and comes from the high hills. How the freshwater reaches the pond all year round has yet to be discovered.

Agastya Cave:
It is the cave where Agastya performed his atonement for Lord Shiva. You have to climb 120 steep steps. An idol of Devi is there.
Venkateswara Cave:
The harmed idol of Venkateswara Swamy is present in this cave. It is easier to climb the steep steps than Agastya cave. This Venkateswara idol was present in this cave before the Temple Tirumala Venkateswara was constructed.
Veera Brahmam Cave:
It is the cave where Sree Veera Brahmendra Swamy, a saint, wrote some of his Kala Gnaanam (prophecy). The cave height cave is tiny, and one must bend half over to enter it.

Growing Nandi:
This Nandi has been Growing 1 Inch for 20 Years. According to Veera Brahmendra Swamy, the Basavanna (stone nandi) of Yaganti Temple will come alive and shout when Kali Yuga ends.
Absence of Crows:
While the Agastya Sage was performing his atonement, crows disturbed the sage, and he cursed that the crows could not enter the temple place. Lord Shani Vahana is crow.
It is believed that Shani cannot enter this place.
