If planning a trip to Tirupati, you must also include Talakona Waterfalls on your journey. This fall, it is in Sri Venkateswara National Park, Chittoor District, Andhra Pradesh, near Tirupati, and has accommodation facilities. Waterfall timings are from 6 AM to 7:30 PM. The height of 270 feet (82 meters) is the highest Waterfall in Andhra Pradesh. This is also familiar to Lord Siddheswara Swamy Temple, located close to the waterfalls.
Talakona is at Nerabailu Village, Yerravaripalem Mandal Chittor District. It is famous for its waterfalls and has a resort with dense forests and wildlife. This place was declared a biosphere reserve for its wide variety of flora and fauna in 1989.

The best time to visit the waterfalls is between November to January. The origin of the water is difficult to find, and the underground stream suddenly surfaces here. People believe this water has healing properties because it passes through different herbs of medicinal value.
The Waterfalls are one of the beauty and greenery. The nearest tourist attractions are a trekking route to the top of the hill, an ancient Shiva temple where devotees crowd during the Maha Shivarathri festival, deep caves where sages meditate, etc.
Accommodation
Accommodation is also available at Waterfalls, which is a dense forest. Forest Guest House and TTD Guest House are two different guesthouses. Room booking is available at those guest houses. The Forest Department of AP maintains the Forest guest houses with six suite rooms at a reasonable cost of Rs 600/- per day and 2 Dormitories at Rs 1000/- per day. TTD guest Houses are mainly for pilgrims, and there are 12 rooms for Rs 250/- per day.

- Bus: Several buses from Bhakarapeta can reach the Waterfall, and many depend on their transport.
